"Revitalized: Baytown Mall Transformed into Mixed-Use Development"

Fidelis Realty Partners has recently begun construction on a new project, the San Jacinto Marketplace, which will transform the former San Jacinto Mall. Located at Interstate 10 and Garth Road, this 105-acre development will feature a variety of uses including retail space, restaurants, apartments, a hotel and office buildings. With open green spaces and approximately 2,500 surface parking spaces available for visitors’ convenience.

The first phase of the project is set to be completed by December 2026 and will include all retail space as well as restaurants. The second phase is still in planning stages but is expected to feature multifamily units along with a hotel and office buildings. A third-party developer will handle the construction of the hotel.

Over seven years between 2016-2022,Fidelis was able to acquire all seven parcels that make up this property from different owners in order to bring their vision for redevelopment into reality.

According to reports from Houston Business Journal,Fidelis is currently negotiating leases with ten potential anchor tenants for their new development, and they anticipate finalizing these agreements by year’s end. This exciting news marks another step forward in Fidelis’ efforts towards revitalizing Baytown’s former mall into an innovative mixed-use destination.
