SimonCRE is helming a 70,000-square-foot mixed-use center in Surprise, known as Elm Street at Surprise City Center. Carefree Partners is collaborating on the project with Phoenix Business Journal reporting that it will feature a walkable urban center, stores, restaurants and entertainment venues south of Bell Road near Ottawa University. Burger chain Farmer Boys, Mission BBQ Italian restaurant Osteria Mia Café Zupas and Better Buzz Coffee Roasters are among the tenants slated to occupy the two story office spaces upon completion in Q3 2024.
About 62% of phase one has been preleased with construction expected to start by late September at an estimated cost of $35 million for which Pride Contracting was selected as general contractor. Phoenix Commercial Advisors have been appointed leasing brokerage for this development.
