Revealed: Tenants of Surprise Mixed-Use Project by Developer

SimonCRE is helming a 70,000-square-foot mixed-use center in Surprise. The project will be known as Elm Street at Surprise City Center and Carefree Partners is working with SimonCRE on the project.
The Phoenix Business Journal reports that, at full build-out, the development will feature a walkable urban center with new stores, restaurants, entertainment and two story office spaces south of Bell Road near Surprise City Hall and Ottawa University. Tenants include burger chain Farmer Boys; Mission BBQ; Italian restaurant Osteria Mia; Café Zupas; Better Buzz Coffee Roasters – about 62% of which has been preleased prior to construction start by the end of September 2024 for completion. Phoenix Commercial Advisors are acting as leasing brokers while Pride Contracting was selected as general contractor for this $35 million development phase one.
