"Revealed: Previous Plans for Allstate Campus"

The former Allstate campus in Jacksonville is undergoing a transformation under the new name of The Pondry, thanks to Trevato Development Group. This redevelopment project will include a mix of residential and retail spaces while still maintaining some office space. The current two-building campus will soon expand to 15 buildings.

According to an application submitted to the local planning agency, one of the existing eight-story and five-story connected office buildings at 1776 American Heritage Life Drive will remain with a slight reduction in size (192,836 square feet). However, the adjacent two-story building will be demolished and replaced with 20,000 square feet of retail space as well as 24 row houses, 36 townhomes and 190 condominium units.

Valerio Dewalt Train from Chicago has been chosen as the architect for this project while VIKA South LLC is handling all necessary permits. In May of2023,Trevato Development Group acquired this property for $20 million.

CBRE has already begun promoting The Pondry on its website for potential tenants looking for office space. They describe it as “a unique mixed-use ecosystem that combines workspace with residential living and commerce.” This exciting development plans were recently revealed by Connect CRE.
