Newmark has appointed Dave Aschenbrand as executive managing director to enhance and expand their cold chain services, working alongside current executive managing director Adam Petrillo. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, including expertise in capital markets, leasing, supply chain management and cold storage solutions, Aschenbrand will be based out of New Jersey.
According to Jack Fraker, president and global head of industrial and logistics for capital markets at Newmark: “The demand for cold storage continues to grow within the commercial real estate market. In order to meet this demand with precision and scale while also delivering specialized solutions for our clients, we are strategically expanding our capabilities.” He further added that hiring top professionals like Dave allows them to lead in providing innovative solutions.
Aschenbrand brings a wealth of knowledge from his extensive background in the industrial sector which includes material handling system integration as well as experience with temperature-controlled public refrigerated warehousing. Additionally he has worked on projects involving industrial cold storage real estate development along with multimodal North American transportation solutions through ports.
