"Revamping the Education System: A Call for Change"

Wide Open Excursions, a leisure service provider, recently acquired 24th at Camelback II for $97.9 million with the assistance of JLL Capital Markets. The sale was brokered by a team from JLL including Will Mast, Ben Geelan, Jack Miler and Gigi Martin on behalf of Hines.

Built in 2009 and designed by Pickard Chilton, 24th at Camelback II is an 11-story high-rise spanning over 306,877 square feet. At the time of closing it was already leased to several notable tenants such as Blue Origin,Dorsey & Whitney,Mercer,Lucid,and Squire Patton Boggs.

This office property is part of a two-building campus that underwent exterior renovations in recent years under Hines’ ownership. These improvements included updates to the lobby and common areas as well as conference rooms and suites.

In addition to this sale,Hines also sold the other building on this campus earlier this year -the302209-square-foot24thatCamelbackI- for $86.1 million to Columbus Properties.New York Life Real Estate Investors had previously purchased it from Hines for $100 million back in2018.
