Retroactive C-PACE Financing Secures Dallas Hotel Scores

Lone Star PACE successfully secured $27 million in retroactive C-PACE financing for the HALL Arts Hotel, located in the Dallas Arts District. This funding will be used to fund sustainable upgrades that improve energy and water efficiency, such as enhancements to the building’s envelope, electrical systems, lighting fixtures, HVAC systems and plumbing.

Lee McCormick of Lone Star PACE stated that retroactive C-PACE financing is an ideal solution for projects seeking to promote sustainable development while still maintaining financial returns.

C-PACE provides a cost-effective way for commercial and industrial buildings to reduce their energy and water consumption by offering long-term fixed-rate financing options. Property owners can utilize this program for new construction projects or renovations/retrofits.

The 11-story HALL Arts Hotel was designed by HKS Architects with interiors by Bentel & Bentel. It boasts 183 guest rooms and 19 suites.
