Lone Star PACE successfully secured $27 million in retroactive C-PACE financing for the HALL Arts Hotel, located in the Dallas Arts District. This funding will be used to support sustainable upgrades that improve energy and water efficiency, such as enhancements to the building’s envelope, electrical systems, lighting fixtures, HVAC units and plumbing.
According to Lee McCormick of Lone Star PACE: “Retroactive C-PACE financing is an ideal solution for projects focused on promoting sustainable development while still maintaining strong returns.”
C-PACE offers a cost-effective way for commercial and industrial properties to reduce their energy and water usage by providing low-interest loans with fixed rates over a long period of time. These funds can be used for new construction projects or renovations/retrofits.
The HALL Arts Hotel was designed by HKS Architects with interiors by Bentel & Bentel. The 11-story hotel boasts 183 guest rooms and 19 suites.
