CBRE recently facilitated the sale of a prime retail property in Queens’ Woodhaven neighborhood for $5.2 million. The 9,227-square-foot property, previously occupied by Rite-Aid/Walgreens, was acquired by Innovative Resources for Independence (IRI), a New York-based nonprofit that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Andrew Jaworski from CBRE acted as the lead agent and worked alongside colleagues Dean Rosensweig, Chris Betting, and Jojo Lewis from the firm’s Manhattan office to market the property and negotiate on behalf of the seller. Stuart Strougo also assisted as managing agent for the property.
Jaworski expressed excitement about IRI’s acquisition of the property through a competitive process with multiple offers. He praised IRI as an outstanding nonprofit that provides essential services to adults with disabilities in their local community.
