"Retail and Hotel Expansion Planned for Domain Apartments"

KREA LLC, the property owner of a Domain-area apartment complex located at 2700 Gracy Farms Lane in Austin, has announced plans to transform the space into a mixed-use development. The Studio Domain will feature 350 multifamily housing units and 210 hotel rooms on its 3.07-acre lot. In addition, there will be approximately 20,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.

Under previous zoning regulations, buildings could only reach up to a height of 60 feet. However, with updated zoning under the North Burnet-Gateway plan allowing for up to 350-foot-high buildings with an applied development bonus as stated in official documents.

According to Community Impact reports , this change allows for increased building density and serves as a connection between residential areas surrounding The Domain and commercial activity within it.
