"Reopening of Murrieta Hot Springs as a Resort After 30 Years"

The Murrieta Hot Springs Resort, known for its natural geothermal water and located in eastern Murrieta, is set to reopen as a wellness resort on February 1st. The property has a long history dating back to 1902 and has changed ownership multiple times. Most recently, it was owned by the Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa before being sold for $50 million in 2022 to the Olympus Real Estate Group.

According to reports from the Press-Enterprise, after serving as a religious retreat for nearly three decades under Christian ownership, the resort will now be transformed into a modern wellness destination. Sharon Holtz of Murrieta Hot Springs Resort stated that they are committed to preserving its rich heritage while also adding new elements to its story.

This highly anticipated reopening comes after years of planning and renovations by Olympus Real Estate Group who also own other successful hot springs resorts such as one in Pagosa Springs, CO. With an expert team dedicated towards creating an exceptional experience for guests at this historic location, visitors can look forward to indulging in rejuvenating treatments amidst stunning surroundings when it opens next month.
