"Reopening of KC Multifamily Following Renovation Project"

Villa Del Sol, a residential community originally established in 1997, has recently reopened after undergoing extensive renovations. The project was led by McCormack Baron Salazar, a renowned developer and property manager with expertise in asset management. Located at 2015 W. Pennway Terrace in Kansas City’s Westside neighborhood, the complex now boasts of 120 units consisting of garden- and townhome-style apartments as well as a spacious leasing and management office spanning over 4,600 square feet.

This redevelopment project was made possible through collaboration between private developers such as McCormack Baron Salazar and organizations like Westside Housing Organization along with support from the Housing Authority of Kansas City, the city government of KCMO ,and HUD (Housing and Urban Development). According to Tony Salazar – Director at McCormack Baron Salazar – this development serves as an example of successful partnerships between various stakeholders.

The team behind this project includes Hunt Capital Partners who provided $5.5 million worth federal low-income housing tax credits through their fund managed by UMB Bank. This multifamily complex is set to cater to diverse needs while contributing towards revitalizing the vibrant community it is situated in without compromising on quality or comfort for its residents.
