"Renovations Planned for City Place Hotels"

The Courtyard Houston City Place and Residence Inn Houston City Place, both owned by entities managed by CDC Houston, are set to undergo a major renovation project. Julian Builders will lead the multi-million-dollar endeavor starting this month with an estimated completion date of Q2 2025. Other stakeholders involved in the project include Woodbine Development Corporation and InterMountain Management.

The four-story Residence Inn was built in 2015 on a 3.29-acre parcel at 22814 Holzwarth Road. Designed for extended-stay guests, it offers spacious suites with full kitchens and separate living areas as well as amenities such as daily breakfast, a sport court, outdoor pool, and convenience store.

Similarly completed in 2016 on just under three acres at 2272 Holzwarth Road is the four-story Courtyard hotel featuring highlights like a lobby Bistro, meeting space for events or conferences, fitness center access, and an outdoor pool among its offerings.

This joint effort aims to revitalize both hotels under the master development of CDC Houston’s parent company Coventry Development Corporation to enhance guest experiences for years to come.
