### Irving’s Grande Center Completes $1.5M Renovation

The 35-year-old Grande Center, located across from the Irving Mall, has undergone a $1.5 million renovation. The 78,000-square-foot retail center, owned by Weitzman, received a significant refresh aimed at enhancing its appearance and visibility.

Renovations began in June 2024, with Dallas-based Hodges & Associates serving as the project architect and Preston Pierce Construction as the general contractor. The improvements primarily included exterior upgrades, resurfacing of the center’s stucco façade, and the installation of more visible LED signage for tenants.

As of February, the Dallas Business Journal reported that the center was more than 96% leased. Grande Center is anchored by Movie Trading Company, a vintage electronics store specializing in buying and selling DVDs, CDs, and video games. Other tenants include GameStop, Hooters, Rainbow Shops, Edible Arrangements, Pasand Indian Cuisine, and bubble tea shop Feng Cha.

Leasing for the center is managed by Weitzman’s Lynn Van Amburgh and Guillermo Lopez, while senior property manager Chandler Walker oversees its operations.
