W Hotels, a member of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio which includes over 30 hotel brands, has completed its music-themed transformation in collaboration with Ryman Hospitality Properties’ subsidiary Opry Entertainment Group. The multi-million-dollar renovation at W Austin features a new restaurant concept called Serenade American Brasserie, as well as 2nd & Roast coffee shop and Blue Room cocktail bar. In addition to these dining options, the Living Room space has been reimagined and will now host performances by local musicians.
The hotel boasts 251 guest rooms including 32 suites. Four of these premium suites feature two bedrooms and bathrooms along with separate living rooms – including Penthouse I which is the largest suite in downtown Austin. This luxurious suite also offers a wet bar and separate service entrance for catered social gatherings at its large dining table.
In October, W Hollywood was unveiled as the brand’s renovated flagship hotel on the West Coast. Shortly after that announcement, W Hotels revealed plans to expand into Las Vegas with their conversion of MGM Resorts’ Delano Las Vegas located on Mandalay Bay Campus.
