Save A Lot, a popular discount grocery chain with locations across the nation, and its retail partner Yellow Banana are excited to announce the reopening of six remodeled stores in Chicago. These stores have undergone extensive renovations both inside and out, with a grand reopening event recently held at 420 South Pulaski Road. The remaining five locations at 10700 South Halsted Street, 2858 East 83rd Street, 7240 South Stony Island Avenue, 7908 South Halsted Street and 4439 West63rdStreet will reopen later this fall.
The renovations include updates such as new flooring, lighting fixtures,equipment upgrades for better efficiency,and improved HVAC systems. Additionally,dairy and meat cases have been replaced,new paint has been applied throughout the store,and new décor,furniture,and signage have been added to enhance the overall shopping experience.“We are thrilled about these changesand look forward to seeingthe success of our newly renovated West Garfield Park location.We also can’t wait for our customers in Morgan Park,South Chicago,South Shore,Auburn GreshamandWest Lawnto see their upgraded stores,” said Ciere Boatright,the Commissioner of Chicago’s Departmentof Planningand Development.
