"Renovated and Rebranded: NC Beach Resort with a Rich History"

A well-established hotel in Wrightsville Beach, operating since 1964, has recently undergone a complete transformation and rebranding. The Blockade Runner Beach Resorts has been renamed as The Trailborn Surf & Sound after being acquired by Castle Peak Holdings in 2022. This marks the fourth hotel under the Trailborn brand and their first beachfront resort property.

Situated on a sprawling 3.5-acre property with stunning views of both Banks Channel and the Atlantic Ocean, this newly renovated hotel boasts 151 rooms for guests to choose from.

According to an article by Charlotte Business Journal, plans for this renovation were announced last year with a focus on enhancing guest experience through improved beach access, an updated pool bar, and an expanded restaurant called La Duna Paradiso which will serve delicious Italian cuisine.

As summer approaches in May, room rates start at $263 per night early in the month but may increase later on. With its new name and upgraded amenities, The Trailborn Surf & Sound is sure to attract visitors looking for a luxurious stay at Wrightsville Beach.
