"Renewal Planned for Historic Denver Cattlemen's Hub"

A group of stakeholders, including EXDO Development, the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association and the National Western Center Authority, are collaborating to revitalize the Livestock Exchange Building into a modern commercial hub known as The Exchange. This 125-year-old building was once a prominent center for livestock trading in Colorado from 1898 to the 1950s. Natural Object has been selected as the lead developer for this project while Stantec will serve as architect.

The Exchange will serve as a central location for traditional Rocky Mountain industries such as agriculture, food production, water management and energy development. It will also feature restaurants and retail stores that celebrate Western heritage. EXDO Development is expected to announce its anchor tenants in upcoming months.

Construction is scheduled for completion by late 2025 with plans to open before January 2026 when it will coincide with the National Western Stock Show. This historic Denver landmark is set to undergo renewal under this ambitious redevelopment project.
