A $20 million renovation project is in the works for The Stockyards Hotel, a historic building originally constructed in 1907. Majestic Realty and the Hickman Cos., who acquired the hotel in 2022, are teaming up to revamp this iconic property. Along with its popular H3 Ranch restaurant and Booger Red’s Saloon, The Stockyards Hotel will undergo extensive interior demolition and remodeling as well as updates to its exterior.
According to reports from the Dallas Business Journal, construction on this 26,500-square-foot hotel located at 109 E. Exchange Ave is scheduled to commence early next year and continue until mid-2026. With plans for new commercial space totaling approximately $630 million underway by Majestic Realty and their partners at The Stockyards development site nearby.
The current layout of The Stockyards Hotel boasts a total of 42 rooms along with an additional ten suites available for guests seeking accommodations ranging from $199-$399 per night.
Majestic Realty has projected that over nine million visitors annually will be drawn into Fort Worth’s bustling downtown area thanks largely due increased tourism efforts since they took ownership back in 2014 when only three-million people visited each year.
