"Remedy and Kayne Anderson Acquire 103K-SF Medical Office Building in Ohio"

Today, joint venture partners Remedy Medical Properties and Kayne Anderson Real Estate have announced their acquisition of the Atrium Medical Center Medical Outpatient Building. The transaction was brokered by CBRE.

The building, located at 200 Medical Center Dr. in Middletown, Ohio, spans five stories and covers 103,175 square feet. It was constructed in 2007 and is connected to the Atrium Medical Center – a leading hospital with 328 beds. Currently, it is occupied by four tenants with an occupancy rate of 85%. The medical center itself leases approximately 70% of the building.

According to Joe Magliochetti, chief investment officer for Remedy: “This was a great opportunity for us to acquire a prominent medical office building that is directly linked to one of the top acute care hospitals in its region.” He also mentioned that this acquisition will strengthen their existing relationship with Premier Health as they already own six other buildings leased by them – including an award-winning freestanding emergency department in Beavercreek.
