"Relocation of Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute to DUMBO"

In the summer of 2025, Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute will relocate its New York City campus from SoHo to Brooklyn’s DUMBO neighborhood. The school has secured retail space at Two Trees Management Co.’s office building, located at 20 Jay St.

Jed Walentas, Principal at Two Trees Management Co., expressed excitement about welcoming Aveda Arts to DUMBO and highlighted the neighborhood’s reputation as a hub for creativity and innovation. He also noted that more beauty and wellness companies are choosing DUMBO due to its vibrant energy and potential for idea generation.

Aveda stated that their new campus in DUMBO will provide students with greater access to Brooklyn’s arts community, enriching their educational experience through increased opportunities for collaboration, networking, and career development. The current Soho location will continue operating until the official opening of the new campus in DUMBO.

The deal was facilitated by Alyssa Zahler and Jarad Winter from Two Trees’ team while KSR represented Aveda Arts during negotiations. This move marks an exciting step forward for both institutions as they join forces in one of New York City’s most dynamic neighborhoods.
