Hoffman Construction Company, a leading general contractor based in the Pacific Northwest, has announced plans to relocate its headquarters to Lake Oswego. The firm’s current office is located at Fox Tower in downtown Portland but will be vacated when their lease expires in 2025. According to CBRE’s fourth quarter office market report, Hoffman has secured a large lease for 45,304 square feet at Kruse Oaks III on Meadows Road.
Notable projects completed by Hoffman include Daimler Trucks’ North American headquarters and the Park Avenue West mixed-use tower. The company also played a role in constructing The Vera, an affordable housing high-rise. With downtown Portland experiencing an increase of employers leaving the area, CBRE data shows a vacancy rate of 29.7% as of Q4 2023.
The announcement comes as no surprise given Hoffman’s track record and reputation as one of the largest contractors in the region. Their move to Lake Oswego signifies continued growth and success for both the company and its clients.
