JLL Capital Markets has facilitated the $20.575 million sale of a prime 2.69-acre waterfront development site located at 6065 Strickland Avenue in the Mill Basin neighborhood of Brooklyn. The property, delivered vacant, was sold by Strickland Realty Group and purchased by the Salvation Church of God.

The JLL team representing the seller included Mike Mazzara, Ethan Stanton, Brendan Maddigan, Joe Lopresti, and Kyle Crennan. On the buyer’s side, representation was provided by Christopher Cavorti and Mike Laurent of The Forray Team at The Corcoran Group.

“6065 Strickland Ave. represents exactly the kind of real estate assignment that requires thoughtfulness and vision,” said Mike Mazzara of JLL. “Matching a rare waterfront parcel with a buyer committed to long-term community benefit underscores the role JLL strives to play as a strategic advisor. Our goal is always to help clients see not just what a site is today, but what it can become for generations.”

The acquisition marks a significant investment by the Salvation Church of God, with potential opportunities for community-focused development on the waterfront site.
