Related Group Secures Approval for $92M Southbank Mixed-Use Development

The Jacksonville City Council has approved a revised design for The Related Group’s upcoming project on the Southbank, located at the former site of River City Brewing Co. This development will include 410 multi-family units, a 4,559-square-foot restaurant and a nine-story parking garage. Plans reveal an impressive 24-story residential tower and riverfront restaurant, as well as an eight-story residential building surrounded by a nine-story garage near Museum Circle. With construction costs estimated at $92 million, this venture marks another major investment for Miami-based The Related Group.

In early 2021, The Related Group acquired the property from the city for $10 million and demolished the existing restaurant in 2022.
