Related Group Receives Approval for $92 Million Southbank Mixed-Use Development

The Jacksonville City Council has approved a revised design by The Related Group for their upcoming project on the Southbank, located at the former site of River City Brewing Co. This development will include 410 multi-family units, a 4,559-square-foot restaurant and a nine-story parking garage. Plans reveal an impressive 24-story residential tower with riverfront views and an accompanying restaurant, as well as an eight-story residential building next to Museum Circle wrapped by a nine-story garage. With construction costs estimated at $92 million, this venture marks another significant investment for Miami-based The Related Group.

In early 2021, The Related Group acquired the city’s 3.4-acre property for $10 million before demolishing the existing restaurant in late-2022.
