According to the Orange County Register, a public hearing will be held at the Santa Ana City Council’s Sept. 17 meeting to discuss Related Bristol, a mixed-use project proposed by Related California that spans two blocks. If approved, construction of this phased project is estimated to take approximately 10 years.
The development would be located along Santa Ana’s south Bristol Street corridor and could potentially include up to 3,750 residential units, a 250-room hotel, a senior living tower with 200 units, as well as restaurants and shops totaling around 350 square feet. Additionally,a grocery store and over ten acres of park space are also planned for the area.
Last month, the Santa Ana Planning Commission unanimously approved the project, and now it awaits final approval from the City Council.Related California EVP Steven Oh stated that his team has been in communication with nearby residents, businesses, and organizations for about two-and-a-half years regarding this development.
Connect CRE reports that once given final approval, this mixed-use project will bring new opportunities and amenities to Santa Ana through its collaboration with local stakeholders.
