For over 25 years, the Texas & Pacific Warehouse in Fort Worth has been vacant. Now, owner Cleopatra Investments is restarting development efforts for the landmark structure on Lancaster Avenue. Before anything can move forward, city officials must conduct a structural inspection to determine what renovations are necessary. Plans call for the eastern edge of the building to be a hotel with apartments on higher floors and retail at ground level; it measures 611 feet long by 100 feet wide.

Worth Landmark Could Be Possible The warehouse was part of T&P railway which helped jump-start Fort Worth’s growth over a century ago and could now trigger immediate renovations depending on findings from its structural inspection results. With any luck, this abandoned Ft Worth landmark will soon be redeveloped into something new!
