Record Attendance at NAIOP SoCal's Night at the Fights

This year’s NAIOP SoCal “007” themed Night at the Fights was a huge success, with over 1,100 commercial real estate professionals in attendance. Held on October 10th at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, this annual black-tie event saw its highest number of attendees ever and featured four thrilling bouts from industry fighters.

Leading up to the event, eight commercial real estate pros trained hard for their boxing debut at Night at the Fights. The fights were intense and showcased some impressive talent:

– In a lightweight heavyweight bout between Robin Bhalla of Retail Round Robin and Eric Miller of ODIC, Miller emerged as the winner.
– Richard Bernal from Fidelity National Title NCS took on Keifer Shaffer from Savills US in a middleweight bout that ended with Shaffer claiming victory.
– Eric Chan representing Langan went head-to-head against Ray Young of CREIM in another middleweight bout that resulted in Young taking home the win.
– The super heavyweight bout between Jeff Farano of Buchalter and Elijah Goldtrap from Graves Construction was won by Goldtrap.

The main event also featured an exciting professional boxing match between two skilled middleweights.

Tim Jemal, CEO of NAIOP SoCal expressed his excitement about this successful night: “What an incredible evening for our industry to come together to celebrate glamour and competition. Night at the Fights has solidified its position as Southern California’s premier commercial real estate industry event.”

Aside from ticket sales and sponsorships, there was also a Silent Auction during Night at the Fights which raised funds for both Building Block Foundation Fund and legislative affairs initiatives supported by NAIOP SoCal. It truly was an unforgettable night filled with camaraderie among colleagues while supporting important causes within our community.
