Realty Capital Expands Lakeside Plans

Realty Capital Management has recently submitted an application to the town of Flower Mound for a proposed extension of their Lakeside mixed-use community. This expansion, estimated to cost $2 billion, will include new restaurants with outdoor seating, shops and services, luxury residences available for lease with secure parking options, multiple open spaces including plazas dedicated to music/entertainment and arts activities. Additionally, there are plans for public trails as well as a four-story office building and high-end hotel.

The current Lakeside development boasts over 40 retail stores and dining options along with 260 single-family homes and over 1,000 multi-family residences. The addition of this fourth corner would bring even more amenities to the already thriving community.

Realty Capital is seeking approval from the town through a zoning change request in order to move forward with their master plan amendment that would allow them to expand Lakeside’s boundaries.
