R.D. Olson, a general contracting firm, has begun Phase 2 of Emporia Place – a 50-unit affordable multifamily complex in Ontario, CA. Developed by Related California and costing $18 million for 60,000 square feet of space; the project will include two- and three-story buildings with one-, two-, and three bedroom units.
President Bill Wilhelm expressed his enthusiasm for the fifth affordable housing project with Related California: “We are happy to bring this second phase of the property to life…Related California has had great success in developing projects that improve communities.”
Located at 310 W Emporia St., amenities include a Tot Lot children’s playground, outdoor pool & community center as well as infrastructure improvements such as underground utilities & new sidewalks/streetlights; exterior details feature various facade finishes along with ornate iron fencing & gates adorned by artwork paneling.
