Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling has announced plans to invest $500 million in a substantial expansion of its operations at its current facility in Rancho Cucamonga. The project will transform the existing 125,000-square-foot distribution center into a 620,000-square-foot production campus.
The new facility would become only the fourth location where Reyes Coca Cola manufactures in California; Downey, Los Angeles and San Leandro are the other three locations. The planned project includes demolition and rebuild of 10670 6th St., with operations temporarily relocating to Fontana during construction.
Built back in 1984, this would be California’s first Coca Cola production center built within 60 years if approved by environmental review boards. Construction is expected to begin as soon as 2024 with completion estimated for 2026 pending approval from relevant authorities .
