The second phase of The Weld in Raleigh, near Dix Park, will feature a 20-story tower with 525 apartment units. Residents can enjoy amenities such as a rooftop terrace and sky lounges on the top floor.
Site plans have been filed by real estate firms SLI Capital and Mack Real Estate Group for this development, which will also include 20,885 square feet of retail space on the first floor.
In addition to its residential offerings, the tower will also partially wrap around an eight-level parking deck with 702 spaces.
Construction for phase one is already underway and is expected to be completed in summer of 2023. This phase includes two towers with ground-floor retail and a total of 675 apartments. Perkins Eastman has been chosen as the architect for this project while McAdams serves as the civil engineer.
