PruittHealth is in the process of expanding and renovating The Oaks at Whitaker Glen – Mayview, a senior living facility located near High Park Bar and Grill on Whitaker Mill Road. This redevelopment project will cost an estimated $385 million and will include 340 units and beds, as well as the renovation of 93 existing units. Along with these updates, new amenities such as a pharmacy, coffee shop, sports bar, and fine dining restaurant will also be added.
According to reports from the Triangle Business Journal,the revamped development will feature additional independent living units, assisted living facilities,and skilled nursing services. Construction is expected to begin by spring of 2024 with full completion taking approximately two years. Meanwhile,the renovations for existing units are currently underwayand nearing completion.
Residents at this community can look forward to various amenities including a billiards room,a theater,a spine wellness service,a swimming pool,pickleball courts,bocce courts,a putting green,golf simulator,and nature trails.All these upgrades aimto provide residents with an enhanced quality of life while promoting active lifestyles.
