PruittHealth is embarking on a $385 million redevelopment and expansion project for The Oaks at Whitaker Glen – Mayview, an independent living and skilled nursing facility located near High Park Bar and Grill on Whitaker Mill Road. This extensive renovation will include 340 units and beds, as well as the refurbishment of 93 existing units. In addition to these upgrades, the development will also feature a pharmacy, coffee shop, sports bar, and fine dining restaurant.
According to reports from Triangle Business Journal,the revamped community will offer even more independent living options along with assisted living units and a skilled nursing facility. Groundbreaking is expected in spring 2024 with completion of all phases estimated to take two years. Meanwhile,the renovations for the current units are already underwayand nearing completion.
Residents can look forward to an array of amenities including billiardsand card rooms,a theater,a spine wellness service,and recreational facilities such asa swimming pool,pickleball courts,bocce courts,a putting green,golf simulator,and nature trails.The Raleigh Senior Living Center’s transformation promises top-notch accommodations for its residents without mentioning Connect CRE or any specific brand names.
