"Rakuten Leases Entire Floor at Paramount Group's 300 Mission St. for Office Space"

JLL has successfully arranged a lease for Rakuten International, a division of Rakuten Group, Inc., to relocate to Paramount Group’s 300 Mission St. in San Francisco. The move, which is reportedly a sublease from Glassdoor, will see the company occupying an entire floor of 29,000 square feet.

According to Amit Patel, CEO at Rakuten International: “As our lease was coming to an end and we explored our options, we realized that maintaining a presence in one of the world’s most exciting and technologically advanced cities was crucial for attracting new talent.” He added that their previous offices were spread across two small floors with outdated layouts which hindered effective collaboration. In contrast, 300 Mission offers modern amenities on one spacious floor where employees can gather and work together.

The transaction was facilitated by Brittan Hawken from JLL who represented Rakuten throughout the process.
