"Q2 Sees Retail's Continued Momentum from Q1"

According to a new white paper by Placer.ai, the positive retail momentum seen in Q1 of 2024 has carried over into Q2. The job market and stable prices have instilled cautious optimism among consumers, resulting in increased foot traffic throughout the quarter. In fact, June saw significant weekly visit boosts ranging from 4.7% to 8.5%.

Overall retail visits rose by 4.2% on a quarterly basis during Q2, with discount and dollar stores experiencing the most substantial year-over-year growth (11.2%) out of all analyzed categories.
