"PV Secures Lease Agreement with Fender Guitars"

RED Development has announced that Fender Musical Instruments Corp. (FMIC) will be joining the tenant lineup at PV, the redevelopment of Paradise Valley Mall. The company will occupy a single-tenant office building set to open in 2022.

Construction on the three-story, 80,000-square-foot building is expected to begin later this year and it is scheduled for completion in fall of 2025. SmithGroup has been selected as the design firm for this project.

Founded in Southern California, Fender is a renowned guitar manufacturer and its addition to PV adds even more prestige to this significant mixed-use development spanning over 100 acres. The master plan includes a diverse mix of dining options, entertainment venues, retail stores and residential units all connected by multi-modal pathways within an expansive community open space measuring over three acres with lush landscaping.

The first phase of redevelopment at PV will include StreetLights Residential’s luxury apartment complex called “The Blake” which features around 400 residences and is slated for opening later this year. Other notable tenants such as Whole Foods Market, Blanco Cocina + Cantin and Flower Child are also expected to join the roster when they open their doors in late-2024.

Commercial real estate advisory firm Cresa represented FMIC during lease negotiations with RED Development.
