Proposed Mixed-Use Project in Glendale Near Entertainment District

SimonMed is seeking approval to construct a 239-unit apartment complex and 13,000 square feet of office space near the Glendale sports and entertainment district. According to the Phoenix Business Journal, this new development will be completed in two phases and will consist of two four-story buildings, a clubhouse, and various amenities such as pools, seating areas, and kitchens. Additionally, there will be a separate retail building located on 99th Avenue that could potentially house galleries, medical offices,
coffee shops or microbreweries. The architect for this project is TriArc Architecture & Design.

The city has also been actively preparing for future growth in the area by setting aside 200 acres for a master-planned commercial development that would include offices,
retail spaces,
hotels,
and high-density housing. This multi-phase project is expected to take several years to complete.
Overall,

there are exciting plans in place for continued growth near Glendale’s popular sports
and entertainment district.
