“Proposed Brickell Health and Fitness Residential Project”

"Proposed Brickell Health and Fitness Residential Project"

A proposed 23-story residential tower in Brickell is set to be built on the former site of Babylon International condos, which was designed by renowned architectural firm Arquitectonica. The property was acquired earlier this year for $8.7 million by developer William A. Jacome.

The project will focus on promoting racket sports and health and wellness, featuring 46,000 square feet of sports courts (including nine padel courts, four pickleball courts, and one tennis court), a restaurant, a “longevity hub”, as well as three floors for a hotel and five floors dedicated to residential space.

MVRDV has been chosen as the design architect while ODP Architecture & Design will serve as the architect of record. Pre-application filings have been submitted to Miami-Dade County in order to receive feedback from county staff before official applications are filed.

This proposed development aims to bring an innovative health-focused concept into Brickell’s vibrant community.
