Endeavor Real Estate Group is hoping to persuade the Austin Planning Commission to grant their zoning request for an ambitious mixed-use project in East Austin. Located on a 21-acre site, just off the Colorado River and formerly home to a Borden Dairy Co. plant, this rezoning request could pave the way for one of East Austin’s tallest and densest mixed-use additions yet. The proposed project would feature 1,400 housing units, a 220-room hotel, 411,000 square feet of office space; 66,000 square feet of restaurant space; and 40k square feet dedicated towards retail use – all potentially reaching up to 120ft high under conditions approved by the Planning Commission at its recent meeting. Endeavor Real Estate Group is no stranger when it comes large scale projects in Austin having already completed 305 South Congress amongst others.
