Proposed $1 Billion "Infrastructure Campus" to be Built in Southern Dallas

A partnership has been formed between Lincoln Property Company, Gigabit Fiber, and Tradition Holdings to create a new communications infrastructure campus in South Dallas. The development will span over 800,000 square feet and have the capacity for up to 540 megawatts of power. This project represents a $1 billion investment.

Gigabit Fiber will contribute 131 acres of fully entitled land located in Red Oak, Texas – strategically positioned within the South Dallas data center cluster. Lincoln Property Company will provide financial support and utilize their expertise in development for this project. The campus is designed to cater specifically to cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and high-speed optical networks.

Construction on the campus will begin with a two-MW facility spanning over 7,500 square feet by Gigabit Fiber in early Q1 of 2025. This GigaPop facility will offer edge colocation services along with Dark Fiber options as well as IP and carrier-class transport services.
