CBRE Investment Management, in partnership with Hillwood Investment Properties, has secured a $756 million financing package for Phase I of the Speedway Commerce Center in Fontana. The project is located at 9300 Cherry Ave and will offer up to 6.6 million square feet of logistics space upon completion.
Eastdil Secured arranged the financing on behalf of CBRE Investment Management, with Dan de la Paz, Eloy Covarrubias and Barbara Perrier from CBRE retained for leasing efforts. Construction has already begun on the first two buildings which are expected to be completed by early 2025.
According to Mary Lang, head of Americas direct logistics strategies at CBRE Investment Management: “The Speedway Commerce Center was designed specifically to meet the growing demand for modern logistics properties in this prime location.” She added that securing this significant financing further validates their strategy of developing high-quality assets that cater to evolving technology and operational needs.
This latest development marks another milestone achievement for CBRE IM’s ongoing success in delivering top-tier industrial projects across key markets nationwide.
