Expansion of title and closing infrastructure in the Oak Park-River Forest area underscores sustained transaction activity in one of Chicagoland’s stronger residential submarkets.

Proper Title, LLC has expanded its physical footprint in the Chicago area with the opening of a new closing office at 7577 Lake St. in River Forest, Illinois. The full-service title insurance agency, which supports both residential and commercial real estate transactions, is adding the location to better serve clients active in the western suburbs.

The River Forest opening represents Proper Title’s 16th closing office in the broader Chicagoland market. The firm noted that the new site is intended to deepen its reach across Chicago’s western suburban communities, where it has built long-standing relationships with brokers, attorneys and lenders involved in residential and commercial deals.

According to Kim O’Donnell, executive vice president of business development at Proper Title, the company has targeted the Oak Park-River Forest area for more than a decade. She said the opening of a permanent office is the result of years of working alongside local professionals who regularly rely on the agency for title services. Establishing a dedicated space in River Forest is expected to streamline how those clients access closing services and coordinate transactions.

The company describes the new office as offering a modern environment for conducting both residential and commercial real estate closings. By adding River Forest to its network, Proper Title is enhancing its ability to host in-person signings and provide on-the-ground support for purchase, sale and financing transactions that require title insurance and settlement services.

The River Forest location also extends Proper Title’s coverage across a wider territory. The firm now integrates the new office into a collection of closing locations that span markets throughout Illinois and Northwest Indiana. Management views the western suburbs, including the Oak Park-River Forest area, as one of the stronger residential real estate zones within the broader Chicagoland region, and the new office is intended to align the company’s service delivery with that level of housing-market activity.

With this addition, Proper Title continues to build out a network strategy centered on being physically present where transaction activity is concentrated. The new closing office is positioned to serve local professionals and their clients by providing convenient access to title insurance and closing administration in an area that generates consistent residential and commercial deal flow.
