Columbia Property Trust, Inc. has recently signed four new leases at their 16-story Class A office tower located at 221 Main St. in San Francisco’s South Financial District. The highlight of these leases is a relocation with Proof School, which will occupy 34,528 square feet of space – more than double its current footprint of 16,500 square feet.
Ted Koltis, EVP and head of real estate for Columbia Property Trust stated that Proof School was drawn to the prime location and opportunity to create a customized space as they are committed to preparing future leaders in San Francisco.
In addition to this lease with Proof School, the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) has also signed an eight-year lease for 3,737 square feet on the fifth floor. They will be relocating from their current offices at 214 Grant Avenue in January.
Columbia Property Trust has also secured two other new leases totaling approximately10 ,700 square feet within the San Francisco market.
The transactions were all represented by Columbia’s own Ted Koltis and Scott Mullen along with JLL team members Wesley Powell Steven A.Andersonand Lexi Castellino.Newmark’s Christina Clark and Aaron Gillespie represented Proof School while CBRE’s Blake Walker and Caroline O’Loughlin Livermore represented NVCA.
