A collaborative group comprised of North American Properties, Nuveen, and Jamestown has listed Birkdale Village for sale, just a year after acquiring the property. The retail center, located in Huntersville, North Carolina, is being marketed by Newmark. The asking price has not been disclosed.
Spanning 670,000 square feet, Birkdale Village was originally developed in 2001 and underwent extensive renovations in 2020. The center boasts a variety of nationally recognized tenants, including Apple, Lululemon, Pottery Barn, The Cheesecake Factory, and Williams Sonoma.
The 50-acre property includes approximately 255,000 square feet of retail space, a 320-unit multifamily community, and over 50,000 square feet of office space.

These approvals, granted by the Huntersville Board of Commissioners, allow for potential expansion of the development. Permitted additions include a hotel, more multifamily units, 26,000 square feet of additional retail space, and a new office building.
