"Prologis Plans to Develop 5 Million-Square-Foot Industrial Park in Cypress"

Prologis, a logistics real estate company, has plans to develop over 5 million square feet of industrial space on their 350-acre property known as Prologis Legacy Point. Located near Hwy. 290 and Fry Road, this site will cater to various industries such as retail, manufacturing, distribution and energy companies. It is estimated that the development could bring in around 2,000-3,000 jobs for the community.

According to Community Impact magazine’s report from a company representative,the growth of Houston’s port has been a major contributor to the region’s industrial sector. The construction work for infrastructure improvements is expected to begin within the next few months with building construction set for commencement in 2025.

Currently advertising build-to-suit buildings ranging from2000-1.3 million square feet on their website , Prologis aims at developing up eight buildings which would add up to approximately five million square feet of available space at Prologis Legacy Point.
