Prologis Buys Hayward Industrial Property with Low Coverage: "Unicorn"

CBRE brokered the sale of a 21,420-square-foot cross-dock warehouse on 5.31 acres in Hayward from an undisclosed seller to Prologis. Chris van Keulen, Bob Ferraro and Michael Barry of CBRE represented both the buyer and seller in this transaction.

Van Keulen, a Senior Vice President with CBRE commented that “opportunities of this size, quality and overall functionality rarely become available” during these times. He further noted that due to meticulous care taken by the seller over their ownership period resulted in attractive pricing amid current economic conditions for buyers like Prologis who acquired it as a “unicorn” property located at 651 Sandoval Way in Hayward with features such as remodeled office building, truck service maintenance building along with significant employee parking and container parking stalls plus 50 dock positions & concrete truck wells – all occupied by RPM Transportation being its sole tenant .
