**Mortenson Advancing on 750,000-SF North Tower at Providence Swedish First Hill Campus**
Mortenson is making significant strides on its 750,000-square-foot North Tower project, which is a key component of Providence Swedish’s First Hill Campus Transformation Project in Seattle.
The $800 million, 12-story tower is already showing substantial progress, with over 4,600 tons of structural steel installed. Once complete, the state-of-the-art facility will house surgical and interventional suites, expanded emergency services, and 72 acuity-adaptable ICU beds.
Scheduled for completion in April 2027, the North Tower will also include a 31-room emergency department and 24 advanced operating suites. The building is designed with a strong focus on sustainability, and it will feature below-grade parking, operational support areas, as well as spaces intended for public use and future imaging services.
Located at 720 Minor Avenue, the project is being developed in collaboration with architectural firm Perkins&Will, reflecting a shared commitment to innovative healthcare design and patient-centered care.
