"Progress Begins on Frisco's $3B "The Mix" Development"

Construction has begun on The Mix, a 112-acre mixed-use community in Frisco, Texas with an estimated value of $3 billion. Located at the intersection of Dallas Parkway and Lebanon Road in the North Platinum Corridor, The Mix’s first phase will cover 28 acres along Lebanon Road.

The development is set to include over 2 million square feet of office space, 375,000 square feet of retail space (including a grocery store), two hotels – one with approximately 400-450 rooms and another boutique hotel with around 200 rooms – as well as residential units totaling approximately three million square feet.

Partners involved in The Mix project include Torti Gallas + Partners and Arcadis as master plan architects; Kimley-Horn for planning and design engineering; MIG for landscape architecture; StreetLights Residential for mixed-use development; The Retail Connection for retail spaces; JLL for office and medical spaces. Infrastructure work on the first phase is being handled by AECOM Hunt.

At its core, The Mix will feature an impressive eight-acre central park complete with event lawn and performance pavilion. Other amenities planned within this green space are playgrounds and promenades to enhance residents’ experience within this vibrant community.
