"Progress at RedBird Mall in S. Dallas"

The RedBird Mall in southern Dallas is currently undergoing a major transformation, following the nationwide trend of mall revitalization. The effects of Covid-19 and the mall’s aging infrastructure prompted this extensive renovation project.

Exciting developments are already underway, with construction on a new Tom Thumb grocery store set to begin within months. Other notable tenants that have been attracted by developer Peter Brodsky include Dallas College, Chime Solutions, and the DEC Network. Upcoming additions to the mall will include a 71,700-square-foot clinic for Children’s Health and a nutrition pharmacy operated by nonprofit Crossroads Community Services.

Renovations are also planned for the west side of RedBird Mall which will feature Vogel’s 15,000-square-foot childcare facility as well as other businesses such as a gym and salon suite. These renovations will not only update the appearance of this section but also provide opportunities for exterior-facing businesses with new windows and storefronts while offering office space on its second floor.

This progress at S.Dallas’s RedBird Mall showcases its potential for growth in both commercial development and community services without mentioning any specific company names or Connect CRE itself.
